In the industrial world, analog signals, including 4-20mA, are very popular modes of communication for their robustness. To make Micro GC Fusion® compatible with this mode of data transmission, Chemlys developed ANALYS.

ANALYSIS, communicating the essentials

ANALYS responds to the need to transmit results of Micro GC Fusion® in analog mode.

Analysis converts Micro GC Fusion® data to Modbus TCP/IP into 4-20mA. This allows the integration of Micro GC Fusion® in industrial environments where it is necessary to return data to an IHM or an analog supervision (4-20mA or 0-10VDC).

Analysis effectively incorporates the expected features in this type of environment: alarm sending, analyzer status, back control loop.

Protecting Water Quality and Process Integrity

Micro GC Fusion® allows for example industrial process monitoring for production control. Analysis then transmits measured concentrations in 4-20mA to IHM or supervision.

You can set limit thresholds that cannot be exceeded that generate a general alarm. To ensure alarm values, an automatic calibration control is launched by Analysis on the Micro GC Fusion® before any alarm is sent.

ANALYS is an automatic solution developed by Chemlys, which incorporates the following features:

2 analog inputs and outputs: (4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-10V). Extension 8 outputs optional.
Modbus TCP/IP communication check with Micro GC Fusion®
Analyser status: analysis in progress, available
Automatic maintenance (optional)

Operating Principle:

ANALYS is connected to a Micro GC Fusion® via an ethernet cable. It recovers the data and status of the MicroGC Fusion protocol Modbus TCP/IP. Then, the tool allows the transmission of analogue data to an industrial automata.

Based on an automaton in order to maintain the independence of the analyser to a particular OS, AnaLYS benefits from a stable and reliable system. It communicates concentration values, alarms or general defect to your controller.

For the most demanding sites, an option allows the automatic maintenance of the Micro GC Fusion® (calibration, regeneration) connected to ANALYS. This ensures the best performance without the need for regular operator intervention.
