Micro GC Fusion®

Analytical Excellence in Under 3 Minutes

Streamlined High-Speed Gas Analysis

The Micro GC Fusion® is a high-performance, miniaturized chromatography platform purpose-built for rapid gas analysis. Engineered for both real-time online process monitoring and versatile offline laboratory testing, it enables the high-speed characterization of complex gas mixtures. This compact and agile system allows you to effortlessly manage diverse sample matrices while maintaining uncompromising precision.

Micro GC Fusion®, Advanced Modular Chromatography

The Micro GC Fusion® is the industry benchmark for the rapid analysis of permanent gases and light hydrocarbons, such as natural gas and biogas.

While historically rooted in laboratory research, the Fusion has rapidly expanded into the most demanding industrial sectors thanks to its technological breakthroughs. Key innovations—specifically rapid temperature programming and a license-free, embedded web-based architecture—allow it to handle complex heavy-end compounds that were previously beyond the reach of micro-gas chromatography.

True Modularity for Customized Performance

What do we mean by modular?

The micro GC consists of analytical modules. A module is a full chromatograph: their combination defines the molecules that the analyser will be able to separate and detect.

Equipped with an integrated micro-sampling pump, the Fusion effortlessly interfaces with a vast array of sources—from gas bags and syringes to vials, high-pressure cylinders, or direct reactor coupling. This versatility provides a comprehensive ecosystem for your experimental protocols, ensuring reliable and representative analysis regardless of your sample container.

A New Era of Gas Chromatography: The Micro GC Fusion® Revolution

Driven by years of continuous innovation, the Micro GC Fusion® redefines the boundaries of micro-chromatography. It stands on three major technological pillars:

  • High-Speed Temperature Programming: For unparalleled analytical performance and the ability to separate heavier compounds.
  • Embedded License-Free Architecture: An on-board computer ensuring a rapid start-up and seamless integration with modern communication protocols.
  • Linear Injector: A unique design achieving perfect linearity from low ppm to 100% concentration.

The Science of VUV Detection: Beyond Traditional Chromatography

The Micro GC Fusion® operates on the fundamental principles of gas chromatography: separating mixture components for precise detection using a Universal µTCD (Thermal Conductivity Detector).
The system provides accurate quantitative data through external calibration.

The sample is either drawn by an internal pump or flows through the 1/16" inlet, where it is distributed across independent analytical modules working in parallel. This simultaneous processing generates a dedicated chromatogram for each module, culminating in a comprehensive analysis report that compiles all results in seconds.

Analysis time: 1 to 3 minutes
Chassis Options: 2-module or 4-module (Benchtop or Rackmount)
Detector: μTCD 2.0 (MEMS technology)
Detection range: <1 ppm to 100%
Available options:

  • Offline license
  • Modbus TCP/IP option
  • 4-20mA available via Analysis
  • CHEMBOX

Why Choose the Fusion®?

– Unmatched Analytical Flexibility: Unlike traditional isothermal systems, our temperature programming allows a single module to operate across the entire working range of a column, significantly expanding your application scope.

– Optimized Sample Integrity: The entire sample path is temperature-regulated and inert to eliminate cold spots. This drastically improves the separation of reactive compounds (e.g., NH3) and challenging molecules like moisture (H2O).

– "No-Install" Software Philosophy: The control software is embedded directly into the analyzer. No licenses, no complex installations.
Accessible via any web browser on PC, tablet, or smartphone, it supports multi-user access—even during active analysis.

– It is designed according to the philosophy of an industrial automaton: robust, simple to use with only a few buttons, and offering a reliable to any test in an industrial environment.

– The Micro GC Fusion® has several types of injectors to achieve the best performance according to the applications, including the fixed volume injector. This unique injector is able to manage the analysis of complex matrices (binary matrix, ternary matrix, etc.) to obtain accurate and repeatable results.
