NEMeau responds to the need to accurately and repeatedly extract gases dissolved in discharge waters for monitoring an industrial site.
NEMeau allows automated extraction of dissolved gases: it uses 2 well-known extraction principles: bullying and vacuum. The gases thus collected can be analysed in a repeatable and accurate manner.
Controlled by an automatic, NEMeau perfectly integrates into an industrial environment.
For which applications?
NEMeau is a solution developed for all industrial sites that discharge water and have to analyze compounds dissolved in these same waters.
NEMeau can manage clear discharge waters such as those charged with particles without affecting the system. The design of NEMeau allows easy maintenance and robustness over time thanks to automated vacuum cleaning phases.
In order to ensure efficient extraction of dissolved VOCs, NEMeau incorporates the following features for full precision:

- Fully removable extraction cell with clamping screw
- Controlled bubble generation system.

The Science of VUV Detection: Beyond Traditional Chromatography
NEMeau collects a controlled volume of discharges and then launches a sequence of bullying and vacuuming of the cell. These 2 steps allow an efficient extraction of the vast majority of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). The extracted VOCs are then sent to an industrial GC configured for application.
The system continuously samples water to limit latency of results.
The machine associated with NEMeau then launches a phase of cleaning the cell by vacuum and with clear water (town water or filtered water). To ensure the repeatability of extractions, NEMeau is equipped with numerous sensors (volume, pressure, temperature) that allow its accuracy. For the most difficult to extract or water soluble compounds, the cell can be heated.
NEMeau is intended to be coupled with an industrial GC to obtain an overall solution for on-line analysis of gases dissolved in discharge waters. NEMeau drives all the solution and allows you to track all the results on its 7" touch screen or on its unlicensed web interface.
In combination with an industrial GC, NEMeau allows:
– State of analyser (ready, under analysis, lost communication)
– Definition of thresholds
– Loading analysis methods
- Back control buckle. Ex: loading of a specific method if the threshold is exceeded.
– Tracking chart
– Calibration of the GC via the cell
– Archiving results and threshold exceedances.
With NEMeau coupled to an industrial GC, you anticipate the overruns of thresholds, which are detrimental to your site.
